Commenting on the news, sponsor of TLC, JP McManus said; “We are absolutely delighted with the response we have received from people throughout Limerick. It has exceeded all our expectations and shows great spirit and pride in our county. Paul O’Connell added: “this is more than just a clean-up initiative, it is also an opportunity for everyone involved to promote a sense of ‘can-do’ attitude. The post-event refreshments will provide a great way for people to meet up after the clean-up in a fun and social environment.”

The Team Limerick Clean-up initiative is co-ordinated by Limerick City and County Council with the support of Mr Binman; the Limerick Leader and Live 95FM.
